The All-Season Colors of Alsace

Alsace is amazing. If you love food and wine, this region is for you. If you love graciousness, hospitality, and charm, this region is for you. If you love beauty, flowers, and color, this region is for you. Bottom line: if you have a pulse, this region is for you.

There’s a Wine Route and a Chocolate Route—my two favorite food groups! But lovers of savory should not despair; I just learned there’s a Sauerkraut Route too!

Every season offers something extra to visitors, whether that’s spring’s bloom, summer’s festivals, fall’s harvest, or winter’s holiday markets. Here is just a hint of the region’s colors that you can enjoy no matter the time of year.

  1. Thanks for sharing. Last summer my partner and I hiked from the north to the south of the Alsace – over 200km and had the blisters to show afterwards! Was a brilliant experience! 🙂
